What is the name of this plant ?

Here is a link to a picassa web album with a photo of the plant. Click on the photo, or click slideshow to see a larger view. I would like to know the name of the plant and also how to care for it. It has dry white areas on the left.

Wow, you really want to ID that plant. It is a euphorbia with a cristate form.

If the plant size( That is individual leaf like organs ) is to be measured in One or two centimeters and the bullet shaped projections at the tip are of the size in one to four millimeters then it is a liverwort ( A relative of moss but does not look like it ) and most probably a type of Notothylas ( There are several of its kind ) .

These plants are prostrate on the ground ( always close to the ground ). The plant body is called Thallus .

It usually prefers moist and humid climate and dries out very soon . The white area that You have mentioned is , most probably , the drying part of the plant / thallus .

click on the link to see a similar plant =

If the dimensions are not what I have mentioned above and are much larger then my answer is wrong !

    Thank you !
