    Games - Toilet Paper Mummies

You could divide into teams of 2 or 3. Have a timer ready for an amount of time, and each team only gets 1 toilet paper roll to dress their mummy up with, trying to cover as much space as they can, and keep it secure without tape etc. -Only one person per team gets wrapped-

Make sure that that game is outside, and then you can have one guard per mummy, and the other player takes a water gun and tries to soak the other mummies toilet paper off. The mummies sit out once the toilet paper is fully soaked.

    ---

You should also have a Scavenger Hunt for treasure, and could call it Raiding the Tomb or something like that. Hide costume jewellery, and chcoclate coins throughout a room or the house or backyard and either fo a free for all search or hide clues. To get more creative, you could make a map of the house, and make it look ancient. (dye with teabags and water for a crinkly yellowing page, or slightly burn or tear edges.

    ---

For foods, I would make punch for drinks, and maybe have fruit and veggie trays. It's hard to get too creative with this theme as far as foods. You could also use a cookie cutter to make cat cookies. (Sphynx etc. Cat was god in Egypt.) or make sandwiches in shape of triangles (Pyramids).

For cake, you could make a mummy coffin cake, by layering 3 sheet cakes, and carving with a knife. I would use chocolate or yellow icing and then decorate with golden colours, blues and browns to make a mummy coffin.

--For goody bags, you may want to add a sand timer (for sand and time), more chocolate coins, or small pyramid trinkets.

Have the birthday child Pharoah, or Empress. Give them a costume with black makeup and eyeliner, gold jewellery, and white Egyptian clothing. You could have the other children dress up, or just the birthday child. It's up to you.

Those are just some of my ideas, Good luck!
