Loving someone conditionally. What does that mean?

Is it right or wrong?

Update:

So if you don't love God and do what he wants you to, even though he says he loves you because you don't love him he will send you to hell! He expects you to love him even if you don't want to.

    thats not cool.

    that means that you'll love someone only if they are a certain way.

    i think it means you love them under certain conditions, like they stay skinny...
