I want to play a few games such as downloadable mmorpgs and fps games . My primary fps game isnt that much of a bother and doesn't require much. The game is wolfteam and its main site is wolfteam.softnyx.net ... it has requirements there. I also like to try new games and might get Call of Duty 4 ... Farcry2 etc ... just a few games. Not really trying for too hardcore just need a really good computer with no lag ... good for gaming and multimedia ... and not too expensive ... ( less than 1000 ) ... as cheap as possible ... ty

Update:

what do you mean ... only lag i wud see is network related o-o

and ty everyone so far ... you guys are helping me alot ^^

The main things I consider when gaming is

    1) what are the high end specs for the game.

    2) how much does my machine exceed them.

    For the wolf game:

    1) you don't have any problems here.

    2) to quote Ben Grimm, "It's clobbering time!"

CoD and Farcry are a bit out there but with a careful setting of options, you will have a happy experience.

The only lag you'll see is network related. As to MM and other digital goodness, you will see no problems originating in hardware.

    good luck.

Thats a pretty good computer and will run Call of Duty 4 well on full settings.

It will also run Far Cry2 but on medium settings.

If i'm right in saying that $882 is the price then go ahead and buy it, thats good value, especially considering you get the Operating System and Speakers with it.

The Sims is really fun. It takes up quite a lot of your computer memory but its really good. Also games like Sonic and Super Mario are good. But the Sims is my favourite :D

its decent, if you want to get more proformance upgrade the video card to a 4870 and get 6 gigs of ram because you have 2 sticks of 2 gigs each which means it will run in dual channel but since it is DDR 3 it like to run in 3 channels so having 6 gigs 3 sitcks 2 gigs each would make it better

That spec is ok. It can play CoD4, Far Cry 2 on nice settings.

Just don't forget that it doesn't include a monitor.

Play world of warcraft, that comp should be able to handle it and you will love the game
