What do you want to learn? How to drive? Maintenance? Modifications?
Books are good. Find and read everything you can. Hands on is even better. Got a mechanic shop near you? Hang out. Don't get in the way, but help out when you can. Hand him the 1/2 inch drive when he asks for it, and watch and listen and learn. Wash cars, pick up trash, sweep floors. Maybe eventually they will let you drive cars in the lot, if so, be careful and ask lots of questions. You don't want to damage anything. When you get to high school, take auto shop. Just keep learning until that day finally comes.
