I like the oldies but the goodies. I'm playing Starcraft, Broodwars, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Knights of the Old Republic 2. But for the newer games, Oblivion is always a great choice and with so many mods out there, there is no real ending time for the game. If you're broke or just cheap (like me) look through The Pirate Bay for some good torrents. I have used them many times and have never had any issues with viruses. Just be sure to read the comments before you download.

If you're a fan of strategy games that look really good and can utilize your new computer, try Empire Total War.

If you enjoy simulation games that also look really good and can utilize your new computer, check out the Sims 3.

I bought a lower end computer for $500 back in November and upgraded it with a decent $150 video card, and both of these games run very smoothly and look beautiful. It also helps that I am a longtime fan of both lines of games.

There are many (half are no good...), but the MUST GET of them all is really Mass Effect. Others have listed it as well. It has a GREAT storyline and GREAT gameplay.

guild wars check it out its the same as world of warcraft but u dont pay monthly jus pay $30 from shops for disc

get Counter Strike Source its preety good and fun.. i personaly dont get bored playing it =D
