why no power to ac compressor on a 94 chevy PK?

The ac compressor on my 94 chevy 1/2 ton stepside 4x4 with v6 stopped working. I checked, and there is no power to the unit at either plug. checked at fuse box and Fuse is fine with power to both sides . Is there a realy or something I am missing? if so, where is it located? any ideas or suggestions would be great. It's HOT and I need my AC!!

Thanks

You might have a bad pressure switch or low on freon.

If freon is low, you get no power to the compressor, as it has to actuate the pressure switch.

feels like the device is clogged...did you evacuate the r-12 first until now putting the 134a in...the oils are no longer properly matched with one yet another...which will reason the great device to fail... in case you probably did evacuate the device...then you definately in all probability have a clogged device... the compressor reducing on and stale is by using low Freon rigidity
