Longest wait for your fast food order?

I waited over half an hour at Five Guys Burgers & Fries for my order. I found out that they messed up a large order that was faxed in. When I placed my order I was told that it would be about eight minuets, nobody told us what was going on.

When I got home I E-mailed the Five Guys office and told them about my first visit. I received a call from the District Manager on a Sunday afternoon. He told me how sorry he was about happened. I told him that I just wished that they would have told us what was going on.

He ended up sending a letter to my E-mail addy that was good for a regular burger, fries and a drink.

You have got to realize that the people that work at McDonald's and other fast food places are not robots. Things happen, food runs out, machines stop working, etc. I would have said differently if you hadn't mentioned that other people that were behind you were served rather quickly than you were.. now that's their fault.

My longest wait would have been about 20 mins., and that was because there was a bus full of us, race car fans. We stopped for food on the way back home from the race we attended. I really didn't think that unreasonable because we stormed them. They did good!

I waited for a chicken sandwich at Jack in the box for half an hour cause they make the food when someone orders it I think.

Almost two hours at a pizza place (It wasn't a chain) that a co-worker highly recommended. People who ordered their pizza after mine got their pizza before I did. The pizza wasn't that good either so I won't be eating there again.

Other than that I've never had to wait longer than 30 minutes.

I had to wait for an hour to get my food because the lady forgot my order, i complained to the manager about it that i got 50% off my meal and a free dessert

Order a Big mac,fries,and coke,

at the drive thru.Around 10:00 at night

Was told to pull forward , into a parking spot,

and someone would walk over my food.

Passed out form a night of partying,

I woke up about 6:00, the next morning.

Still didn't get my food,

walked in with my receipt and they gave me breakfast,instead.

I have waited like 20 minutes at a Whataburger before

I've waited 15 minutes for a chicken combo at jack in the box. Jack in the box is really sloooow.
