Windows Vista Device Manager Stopped working?
Does anyone know y it has? and if theres a way to fix it please help its really aggravating cuze i just bought this laptop 2 weeks ago and the Device Manager keeps having a pop up saying Device manager has stopped working and trying to resolve the issue but then it finally says we will notify you when a solution is available? like really i mean y the heck is this happening in the first place? ok well if anyone knows how to fix this pleas help.. also i have a Vista 64-bit laptop if that helps at all..

1. set a manual restore point ( go to control panel/ system and maintenance/back up your computer) . all this is is insurance. if , for whatever reason you need to go back to this point in your pc's setup, you can , using system restore option in control panel.
2. reboot your pc and while its restarting hit f8 key repeatedly. once the safe mode choices come up, choose "reboot using last good configuration".
your device manager became corrupted somehow..
if you bought it two weeks ago, if you bought it at a best buy, definitely take it back and let them fix it.

contact windows..but what have may happend is your device manager may have got deleted or its trial was over..idk
