What dog should my friend get.?

My friend wants to get another dog. She has just had a baby and would like a breed that is good with kids. She already has a English Springer Spaniel and a Mutt. She has a medium, two story house with a medium sized garden and a garage. She would prefer a dog that doesn't shed that much and doesn't need much grooming.

Thanks

king charles cavaliers are great with children , they are small in size and arnt that high maintainence. However they need sufficiant exrsize about 2 seperate half hour walks per day should do it. all of her dogs shouldrecieve this anyway espeially the springer. plus the child wil enjoy being pushed around the park in his/her pram. also they shed hair about as much as any other spaniel and considering she aready hs a springer itshouldent be to hard. They are a docile breed and are quit easy to train. they love to live in a pack and get on withother dogs surprisingly well. they love, protect and care for tere pack (ur freinds houshold) but will make a good gaurd dog as they have an aggressinve bark and will attack but only if nessesary. however there is not one case of a king charles ever launching and provoked attack on a human and not once on a child. with the informationyou have givn me i think this breed is perfect for your freind.

at home i have a border collie. She's great with kids and other dogs. Unfortunately she does shed a bit of hair but she only goes to the dog salon once a year because she's very clean.

People think that border collies need a lot of excersise, that's true, but you can play with a ball or just give them attention rather than taking them out all day long.

    hope i helped.

I have a ten month ancient male doberman pinscher. So a long way he has two puppy peers with whom he performs on steady foundation. One of those puppies is two years ancient male rottweiler and the opposite is a tender husky male puppy. They play lovely most likely three-four occasions per week.

    Border Terrier.

They are brilliant with kids & they don't molt much at all. They preferably need their hair stripping a couple of times a year but not much. They are lovely characters :)

Do not mix babies with dogs. Every baby book in the world, hosptial discharge paperwork, and animal shelters all warn against introducing babies and dogs. Always be right there with the baby, and pay attention to the dog at all times. Didn't you hear around July 4th this year, a kind, gentle older dog took a baby from the crib outside and shook it, and left it for dead. The mother and father search and found the baby nearly dead. This happens so often.

She needs to get pregnant again and focus on kids rather than starting a kennel.
