There are also a lot of expert economists who believe that Obama's economic policies will be the downfall of this country. The point is that he either lied to get elected, or didn't realize that this would happen. Either way, I'm not impressed.

Remember George HW Bush? "Read My Lips - No New Taxes" then a luxury tax on yachts and a one-term president.

In the most recent NJ Gubernatorial election a few years ago, both Corzine and Forrester based their campaigns on lowering NJ property taxes. Both were lying, polls after the election indicated that none of the voters believed either one of them. Corzine is in, taxes are higher.

Politicians will say anything, do anything to get elected, then they do what they want. In addition to "Expert Economists" they also have "Expert Ad Men" and "Expert Spin Control" people to continually sell themselves to the public, who follow them like sheep.

... and a lot of expert economists have been and still are supporting his general approach to fixing the economy. So ... are you an expert economist? Ever taken an advanced course in economics? If so, you would understand just how terribly complex an economy is, and also you'd understand that these people have had to work very hard to earn their degrees (intermediate economics courses, to me, were easily as difficult as the advanced mechanical engineering courses I took in college).

Some of us have been trying.

Hopefully, our Senators and Representatives will soon realize who they work for and begin listening to us.
