It would depend at least in part to the operating system you are using.
#1 would be Gimp without question if you ask me as it is general-purpose, very powerful (not quite as much as newer versions of Photoshop when it comes to filters and non-destructive editing, but the best you can do for free), and it is also open source and available for many platforms.
#2 and #3 depend on a lot on your needs. For example, what do you want from a text editor? Are you looking for more word-processing capabilities like Microsoft Word with text formatting options, fonts, etc. (ex: OpenOffice), or just a plain text editor like notepad? If the former, OpenOffice is great. If the latter, NotePad++ is pretty awesome and it's also decent for editing code with syntax highlighting and other options.
For #3, do you just want to do strict video editing or do you want to apply fx, compositing, etc? This one is very tricky since there aren't that many free ones.

phtoshop u can download a trial ver. and unistall it erease the registers and install it again
