Is Call of Duty World at War worth buying?

I used to be a Hardcore Halo player for years!!! Plus, I hate games that take place back in time in an older era. Having said that, World at War is awesome. I bought it on the PS3 and I haven't returned to Halo since WAW came out. Weapons are actually pretty awesome! Multiplayer is fast paced, campaign is good, and Nazi Zombies is addictive!

well regarding your question when modern warfare 2 comes out people will all but abandon modern warfare 1... but their will still be a few loyal fans to cod 5... enough to get in a game when you want,.... but in general the game in my opinion is not worth buying... i kind of regret paying 60 bucks for it.... not my style at all and i LOVE ww2..... this game just didn't do it for me... bullet lag and poor hit detection......it's not a buy for me....only thing i liked about it was the campaign.. so i say it's a rent or a borrow....if you wanna play a good WW2 game well at least multiplayer only ww2 game.. try battlefield: 1943.... you can fly planes and get in tanks... good stuff

Well that depends sir, I personally will not because I hate WWII warfare with a passion. But the game is good so I play it anyway. If they don't make a nazi zombies-ish game then people will for a fact still play world at war. Also, WWII game fans might still play.
