Help!! 96 Chrysler Sebring problems!!?

On 96 Chrysler sebring my front left I had the to replace the lower control aren and the axel because I was driving and it broke.After it broke some kind of jell came out .Okay, I got it from the shop yesterday. For a while everything was fine but then the pressure guage started going up and the car started sound bad and it acted like it was in a strain. I pulled over and started driving again, everything was fine and the pressure guage came back to normal. It happen twice within a twenty minute period. Before the axle broke and was repaired, everything about the care was fine. No engine or tramsmision problem and engine does not use a lot of oil .I want to take it back to the machanic but scared that I may be charged even more.What the heck happen. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Update:

Front left axel broke and I had to get it replaced.

  • usually when u replace one axel on front wheel drive it is recomended that u replace both if not u may have some steering problems due to the wear of the oppisite side axel or cv joint.as far as the gauge ,sounds like a electrical problem. if it continues id take it back immediately and ask the mech.this question.
