If Hell is real, did Jesus fail in His mission?
He said, "I did not come to judge the world, but to save the world" (John 12:47).
Looks like Jesus did not save the world if people are going to Hell for eternal punishment .

Since 'hell' is simply the state of being dead; the common grave of all humans, Jesus is able to raise people from the dead, so he hasn't failed. He has the 'keys' to death, and when the dead are raised, then they will determine their future, based on their future deeds, since the debt they owed before was paid by death.
Jesus only saved the portion of the world, a relatively small portion, who choose to listen, and live their lives accordingly. He made the provision for ALL-but the choice to avail themselves of the salvation is each persons' responsibility.
No one, according to the bible, will be punished in hellfire, not even for a lifetime of evil deeds. The bible says that the wages sin pays, is death-not eternal torment.

Really? Jesus failed?? Not hardly!
We were ALL headed for Hell before Jesus came and died on the cross, reconciling us to the Father, and MAKING A WAY OUT OF HELL for us. All you have to do is accept Him as your Savior. He already PAID THE PRICE for you.
The people who will be going to Hell are those who reject the saving grace of Jesus Christ.
All the rest of us will be going to Heaven and Eternal Life.
He died for EVERYONE'S SINS. It's your choice if you accept that or not.
People fail. God does not!

Depends on how you translate hell. Sheol (sic) was a place that bodies were physically burned and destroyed, not a place of torment. Some believe that is the inspiration for hell.
For those who believe in heaven and hell as places of pleasure or torment, God would have intentionally given us free will, so no he would not have failed.
There is no indication in the bible that Jesus's first coming was in an effort to eliminate all sin and make all follow him. There was a greater mission here.
I am not a Christian, I just believe Jesus was a very nice man, but that is my two cents.

Hell is where we all go when we die. It's the grave. Job prayed that God would "protect me in Sheol (the Hebrew word translated as hell, grave or pit)". He was in dire straights at that time, would he want to go to a burning place of torment to be protected?
Jesus was asked for an explanation of the parable of the weeds in the field by his disciples at Matthew 13:36. In verse 40 Jesus said "Therefore, just as the weeds are collected and burned with fire, so it will be in the conclusion of the system of things." Weeds burned with fire are completely destroyed forever. Jesus often used fire as a metaphor for complete and final destruction.
Jesus also used the word Gehenna to describe eternal destruction. Gehenna was the garbage dump outside the city of Jerusalem where not only garbage but the bodies of dead animals and executed criminals were thrown. It was kept burning with the use of sulfer and nothing survived there.
Revelation 20:14 says that death and Hades (hell) will be thrown into the lake of fire, so hell itself isn't eternal, it too will be destroyed forever.

No, He did no longer fail. He suggested He wasn't right here at that element to decide yet to keep. His judgment is for later. yet you knew that. you're purely attempting to confuse and lie to. somebody else did that for the period of a backyard a protracted time in the past and seem what it wrought.

I just love how people want Jesus to be about all love and happiness, and joy and good fluffy things but turn around and reject everything he did in spite of their wicked hearts. (While we were actively sinning Christ died for us)
We took an innocent man and beat him beyond recognition, spit at him, hit him, lashed his body and opened up his flesh, put a thorny crown into his head pushing down into his skull, drove nine inched nails into his wrists and feet but we shouldn't dare expect the wrath of God for rejecting him right?
it's all so clear now!
Why would people who reject Christ want to live in eternity with him? hell is an eternal life without him, no light, and no peace.

Jesus Did NOt Fail and the Sad part Is One day those people who rejected him, They are the ones who failed , Failed to except the truth they make jokes and laugh but one day you won't be laughing and the other amazing thing is you make this jokes and he loves you anyways so much he excepted all the jokes, the beatings the spit and the cross just so you would not fail. He gave you truth he gave you his life if you reject it you failed. John 3:16 Hope to see you In heaven . I am a sinner I just excepted the free gift its that easy.

He did come to save the world. He died on the cross for all. The rest is up people. They choose to accept the gift or not.
Jesus did not fail. His mission was complete.

Let's say you were a convicted murderer and the judge said all you had to do was ask for forgiveness and you would not get the death penality.
But you refused to say you were sorry, that it was not fair to make you do such a thing.
Did the judge fail at his job when you get executed?
Will people blame the judge (like they do God) when you get punished?
Forgiveness is there for those who ask.

Doesn't scripture also say, For God did not send his son to condemn the world but that the world through him might be saved. It does not say will be saved, but might.
