Advice on setting (volleyball)?

I'm doing volleyball camp this week, and I'm WAY out of practice. I'm 14, and normally I play setter on my team. Do you have any tips or pointers on how to make my setting better?

The key to setting is using your legs.

You can't just rely on your arms.

You should start in the "ready" position.

[low to the ground, feet shoulder width apart]

when you go to get under the ball make sure your right foot is slightly in front of your left, if your a righty, if your a lefty do the opposite.

your fingers should kinda look like "L's"

And push through your legs, your whole body should move in unison.

When you bend your legs, your arms should bend.

When you push your legs up, your arms should push the ball to the position where you want it to go. and when the ball leaves your hands, you should end up in the "superman" position.

Your hands should be straight & in line with your arms.Good luck.

Square your entire body to the ball,

Use your legs to add force,

    Keep your hands strong,

FOLLOW THROUGH by leaving your hands high.
