anyone know about liver problems?

Hi I have been having alot of discomfort in my liver i went to the hospital not knowing where the problem was but it started with me noticing odd behavior such as sleeping all the time ill wake up be up for a couple hours and feel so tired and worn out and weak ill go take a nap and end up sleeping 6 or 7 hours i do drink alcohol but i have only been a steady drinker for the last 6 months i used to drink alot more for years and i quit for years well i was laid off my job and i started drinking again. also i take xanax for post tramatic stress and panic disorder been on that for not quite a year. I went to the ER they did a blood test and came back with liver damage well because i live in south louisiana they assumed it was alcohol told me to quit and sent me on my way thats when i got online they dr pressed around my stomach which has gotten pretty big im a small person but my stomach has gotten kinda big but it isnt fat its hard as a rock when he hit my liver i felt pain. something else odd is a few times i havent drank anything or had any xanax 8 hours and i started seeing double vision. after looking online i find that liver disease can cause damage and these same symptoms yet they never checked for any of that does anyone out there have any ideas as to what the problem could be all they told me was there was damage but not the cause i also have had a very poor diet my whole life and thought it could be that please help i want to stop worrying

well sorry for his problems i know i need to see someone soon but how soon can you go from damage to circuses i know your enzime levels have nothing to do with how advanced it is people with low levels can be more advanced them people with higher levels all it is is an indication of some type of damage but what im so discussed with is instead of ordering an ultrasound or liver biopsy they let me go with just the fact i need to quit drinking well first of all i think its more related to my diet cause it usually takes years to do damage to liver
