How do I fix my cookies?
I am making snicker-doodles, and I have to roll the dough balls into Cinnamon sugar, After I bake them the sugar on the bottom always caramelizes and results in a burnt bottom, how do I fix this?

Move your oven rack up and don't leave them in so long. I made some last week and when I took them out, they were very very soft, but they do firm up.

Only dip the top of the balls in the cinnamon mixture. That way the bottom should not burn or caramelize. You can turn the oven down a few degrees...too, that can help. And the pan you use for baking can be a culprit as well. I use Airbake Baking sheets and I love them. I also use silicone mats on top of the cookie sheet to avoid sticking.

cook them at a lower tempature.
and add alittle cinnamon into the dough itself, so you can use less :)
