why pepole going about 2012?

There are so many theories of how the world will end.

Here are some-

Apparently Nibiru (planet x) will be coming between the Earth and the Sun on 12.21.2012 at 11:11pm. Nibiru comes every 3,600 years ( i think) a pole shift would be likely as the poles of the earth would be realigned due to the magnetic pull of Nibiru's poles. Why is this not true? Because Planet Nibiru does not exist. The Nasa website says so it self.

Galactic Alignment- This means that the Sun and the Earth will align with the center of the galaxy. Why won't it cause the end of the world? Because it happens EVERY year on December 21.

Solar Storms-Apparently there are going to be some pretty bad ones, but the worse it will do is disrupt out electronics. Well, since our society is pretty dependent on electronics, our society will be disrupted. But it will not cause the end of the world.

The Bible-The signs of the end of the world are coming, and many are predicting that on 12.21.2012, Jesus will come again. Why is this untrue? God said NO ONE, not any of the angels in heaven, or any of us on earth will know. People have been predicting the end of our world since the first century A.D.

The Mayans calender ends on that date, but it's just the end of a cycle, not the world. No one can predict the end of the world

the mayan calendar ends on that day, nothing was said about the ending, no hint of anything. In order to cause hysteria and panic people have tended to say the world would end or that the world would experience a rejuvenation of sorts but the mayans just ended their calendar. Maybe they werent trying to tell us something, maybe they just ran out of time doing that and got tired and quit on the date of Dec 21 2012. Nothing will happen, this is the new Y2K or any other silly apocalyptic prophecy set date.

According to the Mayan calendar, December 12, 2012 is suppose to be the end of the world as we know it, but I really don't put much stock into that theory. Read about the Mayan's very interesting.

The world really ended in 2000 because of Y2K when toaster ovens rebelled and formed an occupying government. Keanu Reeves came and tried to save you. But you people were so out of it you took it for a b-movie trilogy.

This is suppose to the the new Y2K, the day the world will end according to the Mayan calendar.

between the 21st - 23rd december 2012 is the end of the mayan calendar, which will then repeat itself over again - in a new era.

Who are the Mayans, are they like some ancient civilisation? They are probably really un-educated, and made a random guess.

because the mayans only got to dec 21 2012 in their calender before their civilisation collapsed.

the Mayans predicted that the world would end on December 21, 2012. apparently thats when all their calenders end.

Some people are just superstitious about it because of the mayan calender and whatnot.
