Forests (espcially rain forests) have the highest concentration of biodiversity anywhere in the world. They are the homes of the most different kinds of species, and are a center for evolution. The greater the biodiversity, the greater the chance of survival and adaptation in adverse conditions.
Forests prevent erosion and keep large portions of the world lush and tropical when they world normally be desolate dry deserts.
During photosynthesis Trees absorbe carbon dioxide (a potent green house gas) from the air and use it to produce oxygen
As humans we also benefit from forests by discovering new chemicals and drugs that can help us cure deadly diseases and fight cancer.

The forest is home to hundreds upon hundreds of species. It's all a delicate circle. Without forests, certain species die which cause others to die or overpopulate, and it goes on like that. Imagine life without deer, or certain types of birds. It'd be pretty sad.
On top of that, forests produce a lot of the oxygen you breath. Air is always good :)

The forest has trees and trees give oxygen. Trees also give animals homes. There are so many trees! And that makes it even better! Hope that helps... =D

Many many things x
Its home to some people, like tribes
e.g tribes in amazon
Medicinal plants and cures come from there
e.g paracetomal has some ingredient thats from there
New scientific data comes from there
e.g new species
Many companies get lots of money from it (sadly destroying it)
e.g, logging, mining
Needed for environment
e.g - they take in C02 so global warming is slightly slowed
Tourism
e.g rainforest cabin holidays
Food
e.g Banana's
Stuff
e.g paper
Us
e.g helps us breathe
Shelter
e.g - in the war people hid there uder all the canopy
Home
e.g animals live there in all the tree layers (millions)
:)
Basically it helps everyone in different ways

trees take in carbon dioxide and release oxygen. So having lots of trees reduces carbon emissions into the atmosphere. better for everyone
