  • Advice on hair dye and hair dye damage?

Over the last two months I have been dyeing my hair a medium brown using semi permanent dye (nice n easy 28 washes). My natural hair colour is a dark blonde and I'm 19 years old. Professional isn't an option as I'm at uni and money is tight :-(

I'm not sure about re-dyeing my hair as I'm worrying about the long term effects of continually dyeing my hair a darker shade and would just like some advice on this, or whether I should just go back to my natural colour? My hair is medium length and thick.

To give you an idea of how I look, my face resembled Mischa Bartons ALOT to the point people I haven't met comment on how much I look like her except my eyes are brown and I am quite pale.

    Any comments are appreciated :-)

  • Advice on dyeing hair?

    Hi,

I am thinking of dyeing my hair from quite dark blonde to chocolate brown. I feel I like quite plain with my hair which is long, think and straight. I have large brown eyes and a square face. The only thing is I'm quite pale and I am worried I'll look vampirish. Any advice?

P.S, If I didn't like it, how difficult would it be for my hair to return to a dark blonde?

  • Shaky hands all the time?

I'm 17, vegetarian and have shaky hands like all the time. This is quite annoying and embarrassing as people always think I'm nervous. Should I go to the doctor for a blood test or just take some multivitamins?

  • A - Levels for Nursing degree?

This is a bit of a panic question :)

I am in college and I take Biology, Chemistry and Early History and I want to do a nursing degree. I have scored B's (4 in total, took Archaeology but now dropped) in my AS levels and am taking Bio, Chem and His to the full A-Level. I have also done a week in Royal Navy medical center, 1 week in community hospital and every Friday for about 2 months in a care home.

I am very worried this isn't enough, nursing is very competitive and I am worried that as I did not take Health and Social Care A Level I will be at a huge disadvantage :(

has anyone got into a nursing degree with Alevels like mine?

  • Setting Lotion on hair?

I use curlformers on my hair dayly (curlformers are things you put in your hair at night when your hair is damp and sleep in them) and I used to use hairspray on my hair but it really ruined my hair and made it fall out :( I now use mousse which is okay... but it doesn't stand a chance against wind. What is setting lotion and how bad is it for your hair?

  • A Levels For Nursing Degree?

Many UK universities are now changing the Nursing diploma to a Nursing Degree and you need A-Levels at BBC. I take Chemistry, Biology and Archaeology and I can get these grades but I'm worried that as I don't take Health and Social Care I'll have a limited chance of getting into a Nursing degree..?
