I know that airlines prefer candidates with degrees...?

But! Which do airlines prefer more, a university or college degree?

I already know that airlines don't care what the degree is from.

A university degree and a college degree are the same thing. The only difference is in whether the institution granting the degree is called a college or a university.

Colleges may be free-standing institutions, but a university is generally considered to be made up of several colleges, each dedicated to certain fields of study.

Your school guidance counselor can show you how to use college catalogs and find out how various institutions are organized.

It does not matter what your degree is in or whether it is from a college or a university. As long as it is a 4 year degree, not a 2 year degree.

A 4 year degree... college, university, cracker jacks... a 4 year degree, usually meaning a bachelor's degree.
