When a person quits smoking, what is the usual time span between the last cigarette and the killing spree?

I'm on day 4.

The killing spree rarely takes place, since the telltale signs of the would-be non-smoker (the glazed, hate-filled eyes, the monomaniacal muttering, the zombified gait, the biting of well-wishers and ex-smokers who assure you that they quit by just stopping and they don't see why you're making such a fuss, the loss of short-term memory, the pounding on the walls and tearing the bark off trees, etc..) provide more than sufficient warning so that spouses, children, small animals and passersby give you a wide berth.

Please note that isolated incidents of disembowelment of door-to-door solicitors, evangelists, and parties offering free estimates for indoor carpeting cannot often be avoided, nt that it's that big a deal.

Days 3-5 are the worst, it will start to get better soon. And the anger will lift in a few days.
