How do I rip and burn a DVD I got from the library, so I can have a copy at home? I have an iMac.?

I want to copy a DVD that I got from the library. I understand rip, compress, burn. . . but I'm having trouble with the burn step. I downloaded "Toast" but in order to use it, I have to pay $100.

I've got iLife, is there a burner included?

or a free downloaded burner?

Thanks

Even DVD's from the library are protected by Copyright laws. You really should review the Community Guidelines before posting a question like this.

If you could let us know the name of the DVD, we could check to see if it can be copied and then we could provide some more details ;)

The burn step is the easiest part - in Windows and Linux for example it can be done with free software.

Can't you get programs such as ImgBurn for Mac?
