What food makes you feel like a kid again?

For me it's my moms goulash/casseroles, pimento cheese sandwiches with Cool Ranch Doritos, and lunch at Luby's Cafeteria.

Mac and Cheese, Bologna Sandwiches, Grilled Cheese, and Mac and Cheese. We used to eat those so often. And Goldfish. Just the plain, original kind. I remember eating that for snacktime in preschool a lot. Also, jello because my grandmother used to give it to me whenever I visited her.

Home-made chicken & dumplings, from scratch. I don't make it very often but every now & then, it's more than worth the effort. The recipe is from my great grandmother who owned a restaurant up on the lakes in Michigan & the taste just transports me back in time to when I was knee high to nothing.

Eating popsicles and playing in the kiddie pool with my German Shepherds makes me feel like a kid, and oh yes, hearing The Name Game by Sy Shirley Ellis

The large soft pretzel sticks they sell in St. Louis. I don't know if they sell them anywhere else, but they are well known in this area.

haha for me its honey buns, hot pockets, and that pre-cooked rotisserie chicken you can buy at grocery stores. my dad has no taste buds or sense of nutrition and my mom was too busy trying to divorce him. i dont really blame her to be honest.

    Freakin' chicken pot pie.

I pretty much just rediscovered it.

And I've had it about five times in the past three days.
