Help for a Stripped lug?
I just stripped a lug off of a 2002 Chrysler Town and Country. What should I do? I think it will run fine off of 4, but I would like to fix the stripped one. its only stripped 1/4 of an inch. I'm considering going to the store and buying a threader, and re-threading it. What is the proper way?

The proper way is to remove the lug bolt and replace it with a new one. You wil have to remove the wheel, caliper and rotor. Knock out the old with a hammer, then use a nut and spacer to pull the new one into place.

The proper way to fix it is to remove the hub and pound out the lug and replace it. you can purchase a new lug at most automotive stores like Napa, Auto-Zone, Pep Boys... If you don't want to do the work yourself an automotive shop sometimes even a tire shop will do the work and it is not that expensive at all

If it is the outside threads then you won't be able to get the thread chaser or die to start. Try a thread file.
