I'm not sure if it is completely normal or healthy but I do it too. I often feel better when I get yelled at too so if it makes you feel better you aren't the only one :)

Is it "Normal", no.
Is it common, yes
As innocent as it sounds i would maybe look into something along the lines of a self help CD etc as i dont think it warrants seeing a psychiatrist etc but these feelings can lead to other things such as self harm ( used to be a cutter myself ) so i feel its best to address these things early if possible :)

only if the punch line is better than what any one else can think of within the first 8 seconds of you making an *** of yourself, then yes you should feel better.
