what is an orb? what is this silver ball of energy that i observed?

Question

Many years ago,   upon entering my home, I observed what appeared to be a silver glowing form in front of my sliding glass doors.   The form stopped its flowing form of movement, as it caught in the act, as if I startled it?   It then proceeded to leave my space, moving thru the closed sliding glass doors, out and up towards the sky.   

On another occasion, I was driving with a friend when what appeared to be a  silver glowing moving ball got "caught" on  the passengers sided rear view mirror for a secondor two, then went, as if caught in the wind, or draft of the car.  

I said to my friend,  "did you see that?"  She said, "Yes" .  

 As we both saw this ball of energy, it was a real phenomena .

What is this? what did we see ?  

 I am not crazy, and she is now an M.D.

you have named it a--- silver ball of energy---or orb---it was indeed energy---you are very special----this was a time travelers energy orb---may be a relative from your future---or could be something in the future you will do yet----were you aware--- the first moon rocket crew--- had an orb follow them to the moon.

I have witnessed something kind of similar. I woke up one night to the sound of water running when I opened my eyes I saw what I can best describe as a almost clear like flex able glass like material with smoke inside  hovering above me when I tried to wake my boyfriend it went up into the ceiling and disappeared. I always wondered what it was to but it is good to know someone else has had a similar experience. I also have wedding pictures with tons of orbs in them including one with my baby trying to grab one right between his hands in the picture it is pretty cool but strange at the same time
