about taking thyroid meds?
i heard that once you started take thyroid meds you would be on them for the rest of your life? has anyone else heard that?
i was on them and then i stopped taking them for a few months, now i go back to the doctor and they have to of course do the blood work again and this time it comes back that my thyroid is in the normal range and i do not need medication?

you're very lucky. but there are different kinds of thyroid problems.
i have the autoimmune disroder, hashimotos disease, which means my thyroid does not work, at all.
i have since i was 11 and i will continue to take medication for the rest of my life.
it all depends on what is wrong with your thyroid.
