Can i heat up canned beans in water on the stove?
I bought canned pinto beans, can i put them in water to heat them up on the stove?
yeah i know you have to take it out of the can .

yes, itd just be like a pan, but u would have to stir it very often (so it doesnt stick to the base)

DON'T add water to them if you pour them in the pan. it will thin them down too much. You are talking like pork and beans, and kidney beans and stuff like that.
If you are trying to keep from dirtying a pan by placing THE CAN IN A PAN OF WATER TO HEAT, then remove the top of the can, place in about 1 inch of water. cook on medium heat stiring occasionally till they are heated through.

Yes you can, that is the easiest way, just use a little water as they just require heating really.

only if you first open the can! you can cook them on any heat source,they will explode if its not open
