Can i heat up canned beans in water on the stove?
I bought canned pinto beans, can i put them in some water and heat them up on on the stove?
I know you need to take the beans out of the can,
i mean can i just drain the beans, but them in some water and heat them up on the stove.

Yes you can, but add a little flavoring to the water for added taste, a tbsp of BBQ sauce works nice.
I drain the beans and rince them with cold water to get rid of the stuff that they are canned in. Then I put them into the pan, add water until it just covers them they stir in seasonings. Heat on medium until they just start to boil.

Yes. That was how it was done when we were in field training in the Army. For you it would be easier to open the beans and pour them into a sauce pan and then heat

yes, or empty the can into the pan and heat them over the stove burner or put them in a covered microwave dish and heat them in the microwave and serve on the table in the same bowl. saves washing two things.

You can just heat them up. You might want to find something to cook them with.
