CD burning question!?

I need to know if there is a way to merge two separate track so that when I burn a CD of the 2, it is only 1 track.

    I has to be done when you rip or import the songs so you probably have to do that step again.

    To do it using iTunes: Insert an audio CD into your computer's CD or DVD drive.

    When the songs on the CD appear in the iTunes window, select the ones you want to join (hold down the Shift key to select multiple songs).

    Choose Advanced > Join CD Tracks.
