1929 St Valentines day massacre?

is the garage in Chcago, where the 1929 St valentines day massacre occured, still standing? I want to see it when I go to Chicago soon.

    The building is gone. It was a lawn for many years, but now has a school there. But the buildings across the street that were used as the stake out are still there. They watched the comings and goings in the garage for weeks. Watch for the documentary on the History Channel - I've seen it many times and it's really interesting. For instance, the landlady of the boarding house was told the men worked nights, so she suggested a quieter back room, but they insisted on a front room - so they could see across the street.

    The garage is gone, but you can check out the building that served as the lookout and have some of the best pizza in the city at Chicago Pizza and Oven Grinder.

    No, the SMC Cartage Co. Warehouse at 2122 North Clark St. is no longer standing . But you can take a tour of "Haunted Chicago" to see the lawn where the bldg. once stood. (second link)

    but you still can see where it was i believe its a park or an empty lot
