Which John Hughes movie do you like better?

    Definitely the Breakfast Club. Sixteen Candles is cool but in my opinion doesn't have the longevity that BC has. I also think that BC defies the standard, formulaic script that SC follows. SC basically followed the usual plot and all the things you expected to happened did happen, while BC was a bit more original in a lot of ways (for the time) because you had the characters locked in a room getting to know each other.
