I haven't bought a DVD in a long time, and have yet to buy a blu-ray. Prices on blu-ray are just too high, and not justified.

I'll rent blu-rays from the library and Netflix when they're available, but have yet to find a movie that would really be worth keeping on blu-ray.

I'm also still concerned about the longevity of blu-ray. DVD will be around another 10, maybe 20 years easily. But blu-ray? I'm not so sure. And even then, I'm still smarting from all the bad purchases I made with DVDs, what with "special editions" re-re-releases and boxsets that were much cheaper than the individual discs I originally purchased. No, I'm content to wait for things to go on sale.

DVDs. I don't care how much better a Blu-Ray is supposed to be I can't afford to keep up with all the new bells and whistles.

I can't justify the extra expense for a Blu-Ray player or the movies, etc.

I only buy DVDs I know I will watch several times because there are only a few movies I think are worth watching repeatedly.

I also still buy CDs for that matter.

If I buy a movie I buy a DVD. There's really not even a need for it any more now though since Comcast has On-Demand.

Blu-Ray. DVDs will soon become extinct, like cassette tapes, records, 8-tracks, VHS and Beta.

I like Blu Ray, sharper picture.
