I have celiac disease and drinking whiskey is said to be okay because all the gluten has been distilled out of it. Nevertheless, I get very very sick when I drink it. From your q, i learnt that if you're allergic to penicillin you're not essential banned from blue cheese. :) Maybe it has something to do with the rawness of the penicilin or its form.
