No, you cannot eat bleu cheese.

Use common sense when dealing with allergies and food sensitivities. If it doesn't feel right, best stay away from it.

I have celiac disease and drinking whiskey is said to be okay because all the gluten has been distilled out of it. Nevertheless, I get very very sick when I drink it. Sooner or later some genius will have a eureka moment as to why that happens. In the meantime, I'll let those geniuses do their work while I take care of myself by using common sense.

I am allergic to penicillin and I eat bleu cheese all the time. I'm wondering if it depends on the person. Everybody handles things differently.

Its best to ask your doctor, as the other person was suggesting. From your q, i learnt that if you're allergic to penicillin you're not essential banned from blue cheese. :) Maybe it has something to do with the rawness of the penicilin or its form. (injection/cheese/bread) Hope this helps lol. i doubt it did :P
