when i turn on my iphone it just shows the apple logo?
i recently jail-broke my iPhone 3G, now when i turn it on it just shows the Apple logo and it sticks to that. it doesn't load up, it just shows the Apple logo/

Oh man. You bricked your phone. Don't worry, you can fix it yourself.
Before you do anything try this real quick to see if it helps at all. When it freezes at the boot logo, hold down the power and home button until it flashes a white screen, then let go of the home button. As soon as you see the boot logo let go of the power button. You may have to wait about a min or so to see if it boots up. I've tried this a few times before and it brought my iphone back from being bricked.
EDIT: let me know if this does work, I may have to post this on youtube.
If this doesn't work your only option is to restore the iphone. To do this(while at boot logo) hold power and home button for 10sec and then let go of power button. While still holding the home button plug it into your computer. Itunes should recognize it being in recovery mode, it will then ask you to restore your phone.
