Just wondering about American mindsets..?
I've seen several american movies with the same morale; "The world will tell you who you are until you tell the world" or sort of..
So it got me thinking, does american people really like to judge other people more than anyone else or what..?

What? You never met a French guy?
Honestly, I can admit to this much: As a whole, (and not everybody will agree), we as Americans have very little use for "gray areas."
You are either our enemy or you are our friend.
I wouldn't call that judgmental. More like an innate desire for an honest deal, y'know?
Play fair with us, and we'll, (in theory), play nice with you.
Screw with us, and we will hate you for life.
This applies to my personal life, and has applied to our foreign policy.
And thats how many of us prefer it.
Makes it easier to keep score.....

I'm American and I work with people from other countries like Australia, New Zealand, and Germany. It seems as they are the ones to judge me first. They speak as though I don't know anything about the world. The movies you watched are trying to sell a persona or an image to the viewer but is not how all Americans are. Just so you know our government is not doing a good job of representing the people either.

Well first of all, a lot of movies stereotype people, so don't believe everything you watch on TV or at the movies. Not to mention the U.S. is "the great melting pot" so people bring their cultures with them when they come to live here.
Generally speaking, Americans are very individualistic and like to constantly speak their minds and stick to their personal beliefs...um, as for being judgmental? maybe sometimes, "WHAT? SOME COUNTRIES DON'T HAVE RIGHTS TO FREE SPEECH!!! THAT'S SO WRONG!!!" it depends, really. and again this is GENERAL, don't expect every American you meet to be like this.

Movies are fantasy and entertainmnet. It does not depcit the nation of Americans. I am sure you will find people that are extremely judgemential and you will find people that are not.
I would not let Hollywood or movies in general jade my decisions on the class of people that live in the USA>
