What Team Should be My Favourite?

Sydney Swans have the only Canadian player in the comp, Mike Pyke.

I barrack for Western Bulldogs. They play a fast, exciting style of footy. It's hard to say who the best player is on the Bulldogs. Probably Jason Akermanis. He's a loudmouthed a*shole, but he's an amazing athlete.

It's nice to know we North American footy fans just added one more to our slowly growing ranks. Welcome aboard, my friend!

Welcome to AFL footy mate! My team is the Brisbane Lions.

We started as the struggling Brisbane Bears in the late 80's, rarely in contention for the finals but after 10 years the Brisbane Lions were born. A merger with the Fitzroy Lions who were also struggling but had a proud heritage with 8 Premierships.

Since then Brisbane Lions has been playing finals footy almost every year and has been in 4 consecutive Grand Finals picking up 3 Premierships (2001-3). They are rebuilding with youth at the moment but they aren't far away from searching for a another premiership.. worthy to watch as they are keen and have relentless fighting spirit. Michael Voss is the right coach for the job. Enjoy your AFL footy.
