body odor is not present in healthy dogs that are kept cleaned and fed a quality diet..
body odor is only present if a dog is unhealthy, fed a poor diet, or not kept clean.
It has nothing to do with spay/neuter.
Spaying has actually been proven to increase the lifespan from 1-4 years.
A spayed female is less likely to get agitated because she doesnt have the constant change in hormones.

I'm not sure about the odor, but it does affect her life span. It increases it! That's a good thing your getting your dog fixed, then she won't be able to get Ovarian Cancer. Your dog probably won't get aggitated, but getting her spayed does make her LESS hyper (I mean like, jumping on other dogs and stuff).
If I knew you I'd shake your hand. :)
You've saved 1 litter of dogs getting abandoned...

Boxers don't have a particularly strong smell. Some other breeds, particularly if they have long hair and it gets wet, will smell a little. Their short hair doesn't shed much and requires next to no upkeep. A bath every 3-4 weeks will easilly control any odor they might pick up outside.

Spaying and neutering increase a dog's lifespan, help prevent ovarian and testicular cancer, and I've never heard of anything about odors.

She will live longer because you reduce the risk of uterine cancer and such, she should be less moody because she won't be in heat and it will save you a whole lot of trouble from keeping her isolated when she is in heat. Thanks for spaying!
