DL: C. Delgado NYM

SP: J. Beckett BOS

SP: A.J. Burnett NYY

SP: J. Vazquez ATL

etc

etc

etc

I can only keep three players and Hanley Ramirez and Prince Fielder are the only ones I'm certain about.

I only have one spot left and many players to choose from for 2010.

M. Ramirez, K. Youkilis, J. Beckett, R. Martin, J. Werth, C. Granderson are the ones I'm having difficulty deciding between.

Update:

I was thinking along these lines before I got any input.

1. Manny Ramirez

2. Josh Beckett

3. Kevin Youkilis

4. Russell Martin (because he's a C)

Wow... This is question is tough as nails... I would come down to either Manny Ramirez or Josh Beckett. My personal opinion goes for Josh Beckett.

Ever since I started playin' fantasy sports at Freshman year of my high school, me and my entourage always valued a great starting pitcher. Beckett in my opinion is without a doubt one of the top 5 pitchers in the league. He dramatically improved on his ball locations. In his last 73.2 IP, he only allowed 9 walks and 63 strike outs. He is also pitchin' way better than he did in first 2 months of season aka 4 Wins on his last 6 starts and currently leads AL in Ws. He also has a veteran defenses and V-Mart behind the plate. As you already might know, you will have to stay busy on Pitchers such as pickin' and droppin' them every day. But it is great to have 1 or 2 aces as backbone of your pitching.

I like Manny a lot. He is now the new face of Dodgers franchize and his digits with Dodgers are very impressive dating back to last season. But the age is against him. He is 37 now and if you are plannin' for ahead, I would be better off with Beckett just by a little though.

    Source(s): My humble opinion.

thats tough, id narrow it down to r-mart and beckett. the rest are either not at their level(granderson, werth, youkilis) or will fall off next year(MANNY). since you can always find 3 good pitchers, keep martin

Hanley and JJ i think of are locks... The third is a toss-up, Fielder is an ok selection, with the aid of fact that catcher is skinny Posey or Martinez isn't a foul %. the two How'd you get this form of stacked team besides? Haha
