It is a Scam. Never give out your personal info to any of these places. It is a phishing scam to steal your identity. Yahoo will never ask you for your personal info. Hope this helps!!!

They're trying to scam your username and password. What I usually do in a case like this is send them bogus information, like Beavis for a username and kissmy@ss for a password.

Yahoo would not ask you for your personal information in an E-mail like that.
It is a scam to get your personal information and/or money.
Do not respond to it.
Report it to yahoo, so they are aware.

its a scam yahoo verifies user names and passwords over the phone i know this because when i forgot my password i had to call them to reset it and verify my user name and security questions
