1991 Camaro RS Back Hatch?
When I use the power switch in the console, should the back hatch open up completely, or just a few inches?
Mine will unlatch and that's about it.

u shouldnt have to like lift the thing all the way yourself. the hatch comes up a few inches, then all u should have to do is lift it a few more inches and it will open slowly itself. they are renowned to break fast so be careful with it

It just unlatches, just like a trunk. You need to lift up the hatch yourself manually.
