if you reset your CMOS which the above link shows you how to do then you wont have a password issue erm if you go into any local computer store with your laptop n just ask if they have any disk that will format the drive it shouldn't cost a lot :)

uh forgot to meniton if your laptop is under warranty dont touch it just send it back but im guessing by your question it isnt :)

if you can take the drive out, connect it to another computer and format it from there.
