I agree with Rosebud that natural eco-friendly make up works just as good as regular make up. It's definitely not cheaply made, but can be cheap to buy (or comparable in price to department store cosmetics). You have to make sure to buy brands that you know are truly 100% eco-friendly. Burt Bee's used to be really good, but they got bought over by a big Company (Clorox) and all their formulas changed since they got bought over.

And my only problem with eco-friendly (aka all-natural, green) make up is that it tends not to last as long as there are not added any preservatives to preserve the make up (a good thing, in the end). And if you like the fragrant smells of regular make up, you won't really get that with eco friendly. Those are not huge factors, but they have crossed my mind. In the end, it all goes on your skin, eyes, lips and I think it's best to put things that are most natural on rather than overly processed (like the saying, "You are what you eat", but in this case "You are what you put on"). :)

Some of my Fave "Green" Brands:

    Alba Botanica (for lip glosses)

    Dr Hauschka (everything)

    Ecco Bella (everything)

    Josie Maran (everything)

    Zia Cosmetics (foundation)

    Zuzu (everything)

    Good Luck~

Almay is good quality, inexpensive and sells some eco friendly products. You can find it at most drugstores and I really reccomend it as it is cruelty free unlike maybelline, covergirl and Loreal and I have been using it for years.

It also sells makeup that is made to bring out your eye color!

It's the same as with regular makeup. You get what you pay for. The more expensive brands are really good. The cheaper brands are not as good. Dr. Haushka is very good. Burts bees is so so. This is a good website for you to check out:
