Does anyone think the Age of Mythology never ended, that the archetypes and divine beings are still at work?

The ancient powers of this world are still and always have been at work. Humanity has just become to corrupted and blind to see them.

Yes many today practice a form of worship to different deities. The idea of a New Age Movement or what ever the popular name is now isn't new by a long shot. Much of it is a rehash of very old beliefs. As for the title Age of Mythology I'm not sure who gave it that name and don't care.

If you can work your way around the barriers put up by the larger religion and look about the world you would find not hundreds, but thousands, of Gods and Goddesses being worshipped around the world. It's not just those from the "age of mythology." It is active religions that go back to what one culture calls the "Dream Times."

On another plane. The ego of many humans doesn't want to know there or many Gods in the universe. They want their God to be the only God because they then think that makes them special.

I do hope that the age of Mythology never ends at all best beloved. I believe that those who disbelieve in such things have lost the abilty to care, love and dream.

I suggest you read "American Gods" by Neil Gaiman... It deals with this subject pretty well
