She watches horror movies? Does she do crack while she watches? Or drink? Smoke anything? Eat bad foods?

I think watching horror movies might be a healthy thing to do when you're upset and know you can't do anything about it. It releases adrenaline and endorphins and you get so wrapped up in the drama that you are distracted out of whatever is bothering you.

It's up to debate whether there really is such a thing as an "addictive personality", versus just not having grown very good coping mechanisms. If horror movies are her way to cope, let her watch them. Why does it bother you?

  • All shes doing is watching scary movies.lol Chill. She doesnt need a therapist. She just needs her friend to stop freaking out over nothing.lol SHES FINE (: Its not like she snorts a line when she gets upset.

its not something to be worried about. each person has a different way to cope with anger or sadness.. some eat some cry some beat things they see..

if it helps her to watch horror movies then let her continue watching..

but i think your a sweet, caring and Lovely person for thinking about your friend : )

    take care x

sounds like a way to vent out repressed aggression to me. Kinda weird I must admit but if she does not carry through with anything she watches then it is rather harmless. But anger management might help her, but then again she would have to want to go...which of course you cant make her do
