what is the minimum amount of time needed to train for 1/2 marathon?
i am a regular runner. i have already completed a half marathon just over a year ago. over the past 6 months i have been running on and off. i find when i do get back to running it doesn't take me too long to get back into the swing of things. i can run 10k at the moment but it would take me about an hour doing 10/1. as oppose to me being able to do it in 50min without stopping
i have a half marathon in 60 days. is this enough time to train?

That's plenty of time, especially since you're still running and have done a half marathon before.
Make sure you focus on your long runs, those are the ones that will train your body to get used to running for that long a period of time.
Make sure your long runs are 10-13 miles, do them once a week, and find out what foods and energy works for you.
Good luck...

That is enough time to complete the 1/2 as long as you are not trying to race it.
You have a base and know how to run, so it is a matter of getting your joints and connective tissue conditioned to hold up to the stress and strain of long runs.
I would not do any runs of 10 miles or more, but you can average 6 miles each day with a long day of 8 to10 should allow you to finish a half.
