Do I need to worry about CNS depression at .5mg of Ativan and 30mg of Cymbalta?
My psych just added Ativan on top of taking Cymbalta. He didn't seem to worry about any interactions but I have read that they can cause CNS depression together. Should I worry at all about this? Thanks

Don't drive or try to do anything important the first time you take Ativan when you are on Cymbalta. It is possible that they could cause CNS depression when taken together, although it certainly doesn't happen to everyone.
0.5 mg is a fairly large dose of Ativan to start out with, so do be careful.
Also, FYI, Ativan can cause agitation in some people, and is definitely physically addicting if taken on a steady basis.
Good luck, hope it helps.
