Lots and lots of literature in Western culture refer to the bible. You have the blatant examples like Dante's Inferno, Purgatorio, and Paradisio. Shakespeare has references in his plays where even the swear words are God'sblood ('Sblood) and God's wounds ('Swounds) etc. Early American works, also had references frequently. these were because the bible was the one book everyone knew. Don't look for these works to say "the bible" when referencing it, look for allusions to stories in the bible or people and places in the bible. You'll find a lot, just pick a book.

Athene is correct - just about everything in Western literature - particularly anything written before 1900 - alludes to the bible. Anything with "Genesis" or "Exodus" or "Ark" or "Adam" or "Eve" in the title. Anything with "cross" in the title. Things like "Grapes of Wrath" and "She" and "King Solomon's Mines" and - well, just about everything. The trick is that if you haven't read the bible, you probably will miss many of the allusions.
